Westinghouse needed to modernize internal collaboration technology — moving from Lotus Notes through hosted SharePoint and into the Office 365 cloud. McKula planned, developed, and deployed solutions at every stage, migrating them forward rather than starting over.

Employees now work in a fully modern Microsoft 365 environment. The relationship has continued to grow — today McKula consults on Power Platform and Copilot for the same client, 13 years on.

Brought in to complete and support a stalled SharePoint proposal management platform — McKula delivered layered role-based permissions, document review workflows, Power BI oversight reports, and automated site provisioning. Then migrated it to Office 365. Now rebuilding it for Teams.

A sophisticated platform rescued from an incomplete hand-off — now a growing engagement covering multiple solutions across the organization.

Power Platform Lotus Notes Legacy Migration Cloud Architecture

A complex CAPEX approval workflow trapped in aging Lotus Notes — rebuilt on Power Platform and deployed to the cloud in two months. Fenner Dunlop found McKula specifically for the rare combination: deep expertise in the legacy system they were leaving and the modern platform they were moving to.

Delivered on time and beyond scope — corporate leadership at the Michelin parent level gained external access that the old system could never have supported.

IBM Migration Power Platform Microsoft 365 Training & Enablement

PNC Bank needed to migrate a large portfolio of IBM-based databases into modern Microsoft architecture — and ensure their own development teams could own it afterward. McKula provided the expert consultation to deploy 30+ applications and the hands-on training to make PNC's Run and Change teams fully self-sufficient on the new platform.

A 3-year engagement that delivered both the migration and the internal capability to sustain it — a team ready to build on the new platform from day one.

ClanWars.cc — a grassroots competitive league platform built by McKula — caught the attention of Electronic Arts in 2003. What followed was a formal partnership: EA sponsorship, a presentation at their LA studio, and integration of the ClanWars ladder system into multiple AAA titles including Command & Conquer and The Lord of the Rings series. The relationships that followed opened doors to Petroglyph Games, Relic Entertainment, and beyond.

What started as a community-driven side project became a trusted partner for some of the most influential studios in real-time strategy gaming.
